Actually, I am only doing it because I am leaving for overseas next month for 6-8 weeks and will go NUTS if I don't have a project to work on-I thought that one uses the least amount of tools/notions and will be really portable. I think I should only need the papers, the fabrics cut into hexagons, a few needles, and thread. It will probably be a UFO forever, but at least it is something I can pick up and go with, leaving my other quilts to work on at home that aren't portable. Hope I thought this thru enough!!
