I think you have to be involved in a craft in order to really appreciate the work & love that goes into making something with your own hands & many people do not. My DIL gave her sister a beautiful counted cross stitch piece (but didn't frame it) & later saw it being used as a dishrag! I was mortified when she told me this. The charities really appreciate simple lap robes & quilts. I just love to create something, but if I make something really special, it goes to someone really special !!
