I, too, suffer mild neuropathy. I find all root vegetables cause my feet and hands to have pain - like it does gout. So I avoid potatos, peanuts, carrots and rice. More but can't think of it right now. But, the death of a nerve starts at the tip ends. Guess you really can't stop it, just control the pain. Just don't stop moving, they'll either paint you or bury you !
