I would suggest buying things you don't normally see in your quilt shop or Joanns. I always go to the "thimble guy", the stencil shop, thread shop, and the book and pattern booth. I remember one woman commented to me when I was contemplating a purchase...Get it now, you may never see it again and you will regret it!! That theory is not always good for the pocketbook, but it has worked well for me. Then when you get home it is so fun to go through all of your fun purchases!
