I have a large room in our basement that was my son's bedroom. When he left home, we remodeled it for my long-arm and the business aspect of that.
We also thought if we used the room for another purpose, he wouldn't feel very comfortable moving back home after college (if he didn't find a job in his field) and having a less space.
