The dreaded Fiskars mat, no doubt. I bought one and it smelled like a mix of burned tires and cleaning supplies. It was absolutely noxious. I tried vinegar. I tried Febreeze. I put it out on the patio. I finally gave up and took it back for an exchange.

New mat, no problems.

They're made from petroleum products, and sometimes I think they put bottom of the batch items on the shelves that they shouldn't.
