As I understand it, there are two basic types of people = introverts and extroverts. Extroverts garner their energy by being with other people, and introverts get their energy by spending 'alone' time. Neither type is better, neither type is wrong. It's just a natural difference in personality make-up.
I think it would be really neat thing to study the personalities of us quilters. Judging by this thread, it looks like we are mainly introverts. Me, too. Then the question becomes, do we love quilting because we get energy from our 'alone' time? It also might explain the success of this board. I love it because I can interact when I choose to, but I'm not required to take part if I'm not in the mood. I don't have that freedom when in groups of friends face-to-face.
Anyway, looks like I felt like interacting tonight.
