I am assisting my four daughters in making their first quilts, and I was shocked at how much fraying/raveling/strings I saw on the back of their quilt tops. I told them to start clipping better, but there is only so much you can do.

As I am so fond of saying.... "It is what it is." Get as much clipped as you can and then sandwich the rest and you'll be good to go.
