Usually I try the hot showers, hot packs on my eyes - excedrin migraine (otc) and keep quiet in a dark room lying down. Mine usually last 3 days - if I am lucky they last less. One doc told me that stress - working with my hands etc - causes the muscles to tighten up and they come from your shoulders and wind around to the front of your head and cause these pains - well I have been working non stop on 3 quilts for the last week - I don't know - I have always been prone to headaches - thought after I had sinus surgery (about 10yrs ago) that they would go away. Nope. I don't work right now (semi-retired) that doesn't seem to make a difference. No more monthly visits (hysterectomy - 5 yrs ago) perhaps the Doc could cut off my head. Just kidding but I am tired of these headaches.
