I would advise you to get your thyroid checked. I used to have dreadful migraines (at least once a week) that lasted for several hours and included throwing up. Once I was put on thyroid medication they completely stopped. My doctor thought that the two shouldn't be connected but they were for me.

I get migrains! I swear by excedrine for migraines. Knocks it out within 15 minutes for me.

Yes, I have low thyroid also, have been taking medication for about 8 yrs - its checked periodically - headaches started long before that.

My DD used to get terrible headaches until we pinpointed the problem. She is allergic to bananas and avocados, which happen to be 2 of her favorite foods. She cannot even eat food that touches avocado or she will get a headache.
