I have an outdoor hot tub. Right outside the master bedroom, in a covered patio. No one has used it for over 15 years except when my daughters came from Texas about 5 or 6 years ago. Personally, I can't physically stand hot water like DH used to, and when he got too weak to climb out, I put the moulded covers on it and there it sits, an expensive magnet for neighborhood cats to look out over the yard.
