You lucky lady, I know how you feel as haven't stopped grinning since I picked a 1939 Singer in pristine condition for just £20 :shock:

I did a search and found this page, at the very bottom, for a free down-loadable manual.

As far as bobbins are concerned they are easily obtainable and here is a pic of the ones that I prefer: http://www.singermachines.co.uk/sing...-metal-66k.htm

The are easily available, do a Google or a EBay search.
