Got a new Baby today! Singer Spartan!
#13
You lucky lady, I know how you feel as haven't stopped grinning since I picked a 1939 Singer in pristine condition for just £20
I did a search and found this page, at the very bottom, for a free down-loadable manual.
As far as bobbins are concerned they are easily obtainable and here is a pic of the ones that I prefer: http://www.singermachines.co.uk/sing...-metal-66k.htm
The are easily available, do a Google or a EBay search.
Enjoy your new baby

the bobbin that is in it, is very unique and has a red dot on it...but the class 66k metal bobbins are easily found around here! Think I have a jar full of them I was going to sell..silly me..hehehe
I also have more feet that fit her, including a walking foot! She will be great for stitch in the ditch quilting!
