I've seen them and heard of them but this one was free so I wasn't passing on it. My hand held frame is plastic and I'm really comfortable with that. And, the plastic frames are thicker so it's easier for my arthritic hands to grip it. But, I don't have to worry about gripping a floor frame in the same manner.
