If there is a way for you to try out the differnt machine in your area I would do that and see which one you like the best. I wanted the 4000D when i got the 8500D. But I was trying to save money. So 3 yr later I got the 4000D I held on to the 8500 and sometime will have both going at the same time or will sew on one while the other is running. Good luck on your quest
THank you. I started out with a Brother sewing machine. My mom always had a Brother and has a newer Brother now. My luck hasn't been so good with the Brother machines the past few years. :( I'm glad you've had good luck with yours.
