Wow that sounds like a huge amount of fabric! What an angel you are to help her sort it all out. In the grand scheme though if she takes pleasure from it I'd have to say it's ok for her. I have a lot of fabrics in my stash, actually need to take a day and get it organized one more time. I bought a lot of yardage the end of December at killer prices but I don't just buy any fabric because it's a great price, I still keep focused on what will compliment the fabrics I have on hand. I go for months just working out of my stash and that is such a good feeling.
