Now they're coming out with LED lights. They look more like the old incandescent lights, but have several little lights in the globe part. They are a lot safer but a lot more expensive, too - Like $30 a bulb! YIKES!!! It will be "awhile" before we buy any of those, even if they are supposed to last like 20 yrs. I will say that our electric bill did go down a whole lot when we switched to CFLs, though. A LOT!
