It depends where clothes and fabric is manufactured, but some areas use too much formaldehyde in the process of treating the product and this can cause irritation to those of us who are sensitive to mild irritants. this could be a source of your irritation and a good washing of the product may be in order.
Just check the ingredients of your normal products as well. An international pharmaceutical company took over the manufacturing of a once - Australian product that I use and the formula has changed. With all the price cutting etc. this may also have happened to your products. All the best with your sensitivity.
