I have a combo pressing and cutting board...reversible. I keep it and my iron on the left side of my sewing machine. Here is my problem, we live off the grid and use solar energy, so I cannot keep my iron on as most quilters do, so I have had to learn to be patient and let my iron warm up every time I need to press. Also, my iron does not seem to get as hot as it would on regular energy. Conversely, I would hate to live in the city again, so I will deal with my little problems!
