I have come to realize that I'm not quite sure about some thing, process, color, what to do next, whatever. And until I work that all out in my mind I can't continue.
Same here. Sometimes if I set it aside I can come back with a new perspective.

I do this as well. I've never been one to work on just one project start to finish. Some might say I don't have enough discipline but it's the way I work best. Isn't it wonderful that we can all be comfortable with our individual creative process. It sure makes quilting a lot more fun.
