My machine is upstairs and we have varnished pine floors there. I just use a dry swiffer on them, and a couple times
a year a wet swiffer ( it doesn't stay damp very long.]
My husband gave me one of those extendable things with a
magnet on the end. You can pull them out and just run it
around your area and it grabs up those pins. Get them at
the Auto Parts stores.
