I have made a few rag quilts out of babt print flannel.
I wanted mine to be warm & thick.
I used 5 layers of different baby prints,cutting each into 5" blocks.
Depending on the size (width/lenght) you could had more blocks.
I alterneated the prints to make (5) sets,then sewed them into rows.
I would suggest to show the person your rag quilt idea prior.
One never knows...........
