You can take them to your local trash pickup company. Or at least you can here. You can also put them into sharps containers and also take them to your trash company. Some stores that have pharmacies will also recycle your sharps containers. But I would make sure that the entire blade is taped really well so no one gets cut with them even before putting them into a sharps container. But I am not positive, but I think its illegal to put them into your regular household garbage can, but I could be wrong. So I would just call your trash pickup company and see what they say.
I put mine in my sharps container.
