I find in Goodwill that the people who work there are not familiar with the word 'fabric' Next time, just go where the sheets and blankets are hanging. Usually I find something useful in the way of fabric at the beginning of that section. I make Crib Quilts and to keep the cost down, I go to Good will or Salvation Army for new fabric for them. 2 weeks ago, I purchased from SA 2 yards of fabric for $1.75 and this week I purchased 2 yards to $2.50 from GoodWill. Both good quality, just different retailers. SA less expensive on everything. Plus, according to records, their CEO get paid less than any others at any thrift store.
