hi and welcome to florida. Since you are a speech pathologist, would you give me your opinion on something? Is it more helpful or harmful to teach a pre-schooler, (not in school at all), to read if they have a pronounced lingual problem? No birth defects etc. just substitutes the sounds she can say well, so she is not learning to pronouce phonics correctly, but I keep going and say nothing but encouragement, bc we both know what she means.
