I have a Janome 6600 that developed a "catch" when lifting and lowering the presser foot after using it for a couple months. The machine was never misused or knocked around. This annoying "catch" developed after using the dual feed system for attaching the binding on several hot pot holders. I took the machine into the dealer and was told it was "nothing". "Don't worry about it. It's not affecting the sewing performance." Well, I can't stop worrying about it, and I'm wondering if anyone else experiences this "catch". By the way, it doesn't have the "catch" all the time, only about half the time, and it will have it for several hours of sewing, then stop. Anyone have something similar happening? :?:  :?:
