Anytime I have to do something I really don't care to do, but must, I call it therapy- forces me to refine my skills. This would be therapy for me.

(I say this at the Courthouse when I have to pull a zillion outsales from a development- I have to do it, but I hate standing in one place too long. It's therapy.)
when my kids were growing up and wanted to know why they had to do such and such, I would say, "It's character building." They still remember, and I think we all agree, it worked. They have great character.

Karla, my hubby has bragged on my sewing projects, can't wait for him to do that with my quilting. His would be one of the biggest compliments i could get, bc most of the time, everything is just, 'ok' with him. He's a straight shooter and i'm all details and frills. polar opposites.
