I wouldn't mind the quarter a cart if it saved them enough that they could have more than one cashier in the store AND if the cashiers cared a little more for your purchases. It never fails, if I have tomatoes, they throw a canned item on top of them. (I've tried to prevent that by putting the tomatoes last on the belt, but they still seem to find a way to squish them.
