I like a quilt store that smells good not musty (I have asthma so if I can't breath I can't shop), not cluttered (I want to be able to turn without knocking down a bunch of stuff), samples of projects (they entice me to buy), & friendly, knowledgable staff. I know this doesn't tell you what to stock but if the atmosphere is right I will stay longer and spend more.
