I was making a tablerunner to put in a quilt show. I decided I wanted to have a half quare triangle on the ends rather than a square end. I did not have a pattern for the table runner so I did not know how to figure out what size to make the square. I was eventually able to find my answer for this project, but there must be a formula out there for quilters to figure this out when they are making their own patterns.
