What is the correct way to measure when cutting out your
strips and blocks? Do you cut with the ruler line at the
edge of the fabric or the line bottom on the edge? I
hope this makes sense. I have always wondered which is
correct. Brenda from Wadesville In

Where is the best place to begin quilting on a quilt when doing free motion on a regular sewing machine?
Is it best to have the binding finished before you begin quilting or after? I see pictures of quilting and the edge hasn't been put on yet.Which is the proper way?
