I have a Viking Designer Topaz 20 and I still need help in doing any embroidery,. Closest store is 2 hrs away for any training and then you can't keep her attention for more than 5 min.
I do believe that Janome makes an embroidery machine that is easy to learn, much cheaper to buy, but as I say, go and test drive many different ones.
