May day brings back such wonderful memories of childhood. We would get dressed in our Sunday finest and go to school and dance around the May Poll. One year I remember the girls from the high school came to our elementary school in their prom dresses and picnicked on the front lawn of our school. Our elementary school was a spectacular building. And I know they had a professional photographer taking pictures.
I also remember making little milk carton flower pots covered in paper and putting flowers in them and putting them on people's porches. I just feel so lucky that I lived in those wonderful days, when everyday could be so sweet.
