Happy May Day-I did go out and admire my daffodils, grape hyacinthe and tulips. My lilly of the valley are peaking out, too.

May day brings back such wonderful memories of childhood. We would get dressed in our Sunday finest and go to school and dance around the May Poll. One year I remember the girls from the high school came to our elementary school in their prom dresses and picnicked on the front lawn of our school. Our elementary school was a spectacular building. And I know they had a professional photographer taking pictures.

I also remember making little milk carton flower pots covered in paper and putting flowers in them and putting them on people's porches. I just feel so lucky that I lived in those wonderful days, when everyday could be so sweet.

We made construction paper cones and filled with lilacs then hung on neighbors door knob, rang the bell and ran off :-)
