Better yet, there is another torchier that no longer works to use for another project. :thumbup:
Sounds like a great idea. How about using an old mop or broom handle? If your quilt isn't too wide seems like it would work perfectly. Or even an old rake or shovel handle. Sand and a little paint or stain and viola!
