Thanks Radiana for the video link. I also went on the Janome website and it seems they consider the stop/start button to be a cruise-control type of feature because you don't need to use the foot pedal. I never use the stop/start button with quilt piecing, but maybe I'll give it a try. The only advantage I can think of is that your speed would be consistent.
