And if you used them in canning jar quilts, were you literal enough in your interpretation to only use fruits and veggies that actually would be canned (which rules out lettuce and bananas) or did you just pick whatever was pretty and colorful? How many jars did you wind up with?
I have done some of the "canned" fruit wall hangings to hang in the open class food barn at the county fair a year or two ago. I posted pictures of the wall hangings under my name "Feathers" ....the pictures are located in my Topics under "Pictures" both on Page 2 of different topics.
The hangings turned out really nice and really did dress up the walls where all t he phone exhibits were.
