Why not make two sides of the quilt, with the dinosaurs and the matching colors on one side and, using the same colors on the other side along with pinks and purples, making that the "girly" side? This way, she can use whichever side she feels like that day.......girly or not girly.
I like this idea! As the wife of a paleontologist it just seems criminal to alter the panel. It is a really nice dinosaur scene. Hard to find any that aren't all goofy, anatomically incorrect dino prints.
