I read, and re-read, and agonized (in a good way) over this layout and this is what I have come up with.

All the strips have been cut and I plan to stay up late and sew some together so I can make sure this is right before I sew them all. I will post what I have by 9:30 tonight when they turn my Internet off.

I must say that this was so much better with your help. If it still looks wrong feel free to let me know, there is still time for adjustments.
