You will do just fine. A walking foot is a joy to use and when you see the design starting to take shape it brings joy to a quilter's heart. When you feel comfortable try FMQ, it is so much fun and just takes practice like everything else worth doing. Most important point of all is to have fun with your project. Also this board has the most awesome quilters on the planet, there isn't a question or advice you need that you can't find here. Enjoy!!!
