In the "classroom" these are the shy, retiring, kids. Surround them with a few "cheerleaders" and they can become the "resting place" in a beautiful quilt. I see a lot of soft "baby quilts" with happy flowers and animals - NOT the bright, stimulating bold quilts we like to make for babies.
I guess the bottom line is that even the truly "ugly" fabric (which these are not) can find a home in the right quilt.
I see the possibilities.
