i've been using a cpap machine for 6 years now. at first it was hard but once i found the right mask things got easier. even 4 hours of sleep with the cpap makes a huge difference in rest for your body. i use the nasal pillows and had some trouble with air blowing out my tear ducts. this was easily solved with the addition of a sleep eye mask (the kind you see in movies) i sleep very soundly and my dreams are only vivid if i have a cold. keep working at it & you'll find the right mask for you.
