Back home in the UK our equivalent day is Remembrance day held on the nearest Sunday to the eleventh day of the eleventh month and at the eleventh hour there is a two minute silence. Not held by everyone for sure but the BBC always cover the Queen laying a wreath of poppies on a memorial. Have a good memorial day.
