My mother was the same way. She would always say don't say cheap, say it's inexpensive!! I had an ebay store for several years and that was my "slogan" It read: Our bargains aren't cheap - - - they're inexpensive. My slogan was in rememberance of my mother. Even today when my kids use the word "cheap" I'll correct them and say "inexpensive"!!
