In the 50+ years of knowing my mother, I don't think I ever saw her take so much as a sip of wine. We're just not drinkers.
One day, jokingly, my mother said she could get drunk on one sniff of the cork. "Oh, a cheap drunk!" someone said. "No," she replied, "an inexpensive one!"
