LMBO. One time I was sewing HST, I sewed on either side of the line, cut them apart THEN realized that I had sewn one square right side facing....I proceeded to get another square and sew the two offending triangles to the square right sides together. WITHOUT REMOVING THE OFFENDING FABRIC! The reason for this you ask....I was trying to avoid having that now bias edge stretch. for whatever reason I don't know, I thought I could sew the new seam and then take out the bad one. LMBO! And no this didn't happen when I first started sewing/quilting. This was just within the last three months. I actually put THOUGHT into it because this was going to be "easier"! I threw the whole thing in the trash and started over with two new squares.
