The best way to learn is to sign up for a beginner's class with an experienced teacher. That way you learn step by step and get to practice. You learn VERY valuable information on all aspects of quilting, and avoid any pitfalls you might otherwise experience. Expect to make mistakes, and don't worry about them when you do.
