Is there a book that tells you all about what you should set your stitches at for different fabrics. I was never taught about changing this for different materials. I remember when my grand daughter took a class on making a tote bag the teacher had her set the stitch length different because of the thickness. when I learned at school Many years ago it was set and you never touched it. So I have always used what the machine is set at.I tried the manual that came with the machine but it just tells about different types of stitches-zig zag-etc. Would real like to know how not to screw up my machine anymore. Thanks
