Black and Decker makes a "retro" iron that is just like irons from the 60's. I have had lots of different irons, teflon, light, but I love the weight and heft of the old fashioned retro ones. I bought it at Target or Walmart several years ago and it still works. I believe they still have it.
I just got one of these at Walmart.It was in the clearance aisle for $13.Best iron I ever had.
