Where to Find a Simple, Cheap, Heavy Iron?

I ended up heading to Target after work and purchasing the Black and Decker "Classic". It felt great in my hand and the price was right. Works beautifully! Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I probably wouldn't have found it otherwise!

Does it still heat up? My iron started that not long ago, starting leaking something terrible, but, still got hot enough to iron. So, I emptied out all the water, got a spray bottle of water for in the sewing room and was back in business. I know the iron won't last forever, but, it still gets hot, so I might just as well use it.

I got a Black and Decker at Walmart. It isn't massively heavy but it isn't a total lightweight either. It was less than $12. I brought it to my sewing group - which sadly doesn't meet anymore :'( but everyone loved it and now 4 of my friends - almost the entire old sewing group - went out and bought the same iron...

A ouple of days ago I went ot the Sew & Vac in my area and they had those orek irons on clearance. They were originally $125 and change and I got mine for $49. and change and it has a stand that you keep the iron on and it is as heavey as a horse's tail. I was lucky to get it that cheap as those are not cheap irons. So far I love it as you can iron cordless or with the cord. All you do is move the button to the far right and then the iron will come off the cord and you can iron with out tripping over that cord. It also has the burst of steam feature and such I'm not used to a heavey iron yet, and I thought it would bother my chest after having heart surgery in March, but it doesn't bother me at all. The iron has a self cleaning feature too. So far my blocks have not gotten out of proportion either. Love my new iron. My Rowenta died on me and I've had that iron for years.
